Job Description

Location: Delhi NCR (Tech Data Office)
Experience Required: 3 – 6 Years

We are looking for a customer-facing Check Point Presales Engineer to support Tech
Data’s cybersecurity business in the Delhi NCR region. The role is highly presales oriented, revenue-aligned, and focuses on solution designing, demonstrations, proof of
concepts (PoCs), and partner enablement.

The candidate will act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for Check
Point security solutions and will work closely with internal sales teams and channel
partners to drive business growth.

 

Roles & Responsibility

  • Act as the Presales Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Check Point related
    opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solution
    architecture and design.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of
    Concepts (PoCs).
  • Support preparation of RFQs, BOQs, sizing, and technical solution
    documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams and channel partners to drive opportunities
    Provide technical guidance and enablement to partners.
  • Carry presales-linked targets based on deal influence and technical closures

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall
    concepts).
  • Hands-on or presales experience with Check Point Firewall technologies.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong documentation and technical articulation abilities.
  • Customer-facing and consultative approach.

Certifications (Good to Have)

  • Check Point CCSE – Highly Preferred
  • Check Point CCSA – Preferred
