Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead and drive end-to-end quality assurance and test automation initiatives for enterprise software products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation, Agile delivery, AI-assisted testing, and Microsoft technology stacks. This role requires someone who can work independently, collaborate with Product Owners and development teams, and mentor engineers in building high-quality, testable software.
Job Description
Required Skills:
- 8–12 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong knowledge of:

- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software testing and test generation.
- Experience using Confluence for documentation, Wiki creation, and Whiteboarding.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently own and manage test automation initiatives.
- Experience coaching and reviewing developer-written unit test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience working on software product development.
- Strong background in Microsoft technology stack(MariaDB/ My SQL).
- Experience integrating automated tests into GitHub Actions & Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter, k6, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in enterprise product engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation & Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
- Drive automation across:
- Unit Testing
- UI/Frontend Testing
- API Testing
- Integration Testing
- Performance Testing
- Security Testing
- Scalability & Load Testing
- Ensure high test coverage, reliability, and maintainability of automation suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
AI-Driven Testing
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate:
- Test case generation
- Unit test generation
- UI and API automation
- Test data creation
- Regression testing
- Test optimization and analysis
- Evaluate and implement AI-powered testing practices to improve productivity and software quality.
Agile Delivery & Product Support
- Work closely with Product Owners to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage:

- Burndown generation and sprint reporting
- Ensure testing activities align with sprint goals and release timelines.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and maintain project documentation using Confluence.
- Develop technical documentation, test strategies, and knowledge repositories.
- Utilize Confluence Whiteboards for planning, solution discussions, and team collaboration.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead the test automation strategy for multiple projects.
- Coach and mentor developers on writing effective unit tests and improving code quality.
- Review unit test cases developed by software engineers and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide development teams in adopting test-first and quality-first engineering practices.
- Independently coordinate with Product Owners and stakeholders to drive testing initiatives.
