Standard DRaaS
The following tasks will be performed by Krish for a standard DRaaS service:
- Ensuring that all software and infrastructure components are deployed
- Configurating VM replication jobs
- Conducting One-time DR failover testing
- Providing Future failover testing assistance
- Offering In-depth training on implementing the solution
- In the event of an outage, we provide assistance with a live production failover
- Continuous monitoring of the replication status and infrastructure
During a Disaster Recovery Event
- Our experts at Krish will work with you to clearly define and document all disaster recovery trigger events, and recovery runbooks. Depending on the type of event, the Disaster Recovery process may be automated or require manual interactions or approvals. All the tasks and ownership for the Disaster Recovery event are properly assigned to the right internal resources.
Failback Event
- The DR plan is standardized by Krish with a formal failback process and associated runbook, including custom Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) for each server or application based on the use case. Depending on the system, the failback process may be automated or require manual approval.
Scheduled Recovery Testing
- Every server will have its own testing process, which will be described and documented in the runbook. Based on the requirement, there may be both automated and manual procedures included. Every Server recovery process will be tested at a regular intervals based on the requirement.
Regular Service Review

Krish will conduct periodic service reviews on a regular basis. DR infrastructure costs, utilization metrics, and recovery statistics are provided in the service review.
Regular service recommendations will give a better insight into how the disaster recovery process and failback procedures can be improved. Information such as resolution times, number of tickets submitted and completed ticket survey responses will be included in the service details.
Inspecting and Reporting
- To ensure stable connectivity and active functionality, all infrastructure components and replication systems will be monitored constantly. Krish managed services team will resolve any issues with DR functionality and inform customers directly.
